The Rollakin Group, owner of the pure player specialized in the online sale of bearings and transmission parts 123Roulement acquires its English counterpart Simply Bearings Ltd.

A strategic acquisition for local and international markets

The acquisition of Simply Bearings enables Rollakin to accelerate its development in the UK, strengthen its presence in the US market and pursue its international expansion. International expansion, which now accounts for over 50% of sales.

Founded in 2004 near Manchester in the UK, Simply Bearings has a positioning equivalent to that of 123Roulement across the Channel, both in terms of its digital DNA and its specialization in technical product ranges, customer typologies and supplier networks.

The company employs nearly 50 people. These many similarities will enable a smooth, gradual integration within the Rollakin group, which is now a pan-European digital pure player and leader in the specialized distribution of technical parts.

Outlook for the future

Rollakin has thus doubled in size three years after its takeover, fully reflecting both the success of the management handover organized aroundPierre Seznec, and the relevance of the development plan implemented.
